Pierce Brosnan narrated the Thomas and Friends special, The Great Discovery. He was originally supposed to replace Michael Angelis as the storyteller in 2008, but due to his busy schedule, his role was reduced to guest narrator and Michael resumed the role until 2012. If Pierce had become the official storyteller, he would have narrated Series 12-14.
