The Butterfly is the second Kipper video released in Australia. It was released by ABC Video as part of their ABC for Kids label in 1998.

Trivia

• The VHS's cover is similar to The Seaside, but the background is blue.
• Strangely, "The Rainbow Puddle" is not on this tape, despite the episodes slightly being in order. This is because said episode is on ABC for Kids: More Favourites VHS.
